How long will it take for my web site to be designed?
The timescale of a website design project is often dictated by the
client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it
for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a
new website is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by
the client. If you can supply all the required elements quickly, we
will ensure your project is completed promptly and on time.
Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the website design?
In the majority of cases a meeting isn't necessary and most of our
websites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone
only. You can view your website online as it is created in stages.
How many changes am I allowed?
You can make two sets of changes related to images on each page and
as many changes as you wish related to text information. You are allowed
one basic design change to your website (ie the look of your website
throughout).
I hear that there
are hidden costs associated with web design services. Is this true?
No. We discuss with you your website requirements and then
price accordingly. Once you have placed an order for your website
design with us, that price is set in concrete. Naturally, any additional
requests will also be charged accordingly but you will be advised for
such costs prior.
Can you help me with advertising my website
on Google?
Yes. Google is the number one choice for advertising your website so the world
can view it and contact you. However Google charges a price for this. Assistance
with setting up your website on Google and costings can be provided by us. We
can discuss this when you're ready!
What do I need to provide the designer?
Usually, you will need to supply the designer with the information
you wish to include, any pictures you may require (e.g. products,
etc) and other website inclusions. If you require generic pictures
then these will be supplied free of charge. Apart from the basics,
the designer does not require much else from you. You will be contacted
for an online viewing of your website.
Can you provide all our web design and hosting services?
Yes - we are your one stop company to provide all your web services.
No more - not knowing who to call if you have problems - we can register
your domain name - design your website - provide your web hosting and
arrange your email accounts for you.
Can I get e-mail with my website?
Yes you can have email and you will probably wish you set-up several
email addressed e.g. sale@your-domain.com, info@your-domain.com, john.smith@your-domain.com
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes we do. We can redesign, retaining your company corporate style
or we can redesign to give you a complete new image. Is your website
up to date - let us provide you a Free of Charge Website Evaluation
- we can redesign your website to take advantage of the latest web
technologies.
Who
owns the website once the website design is completed?
The website belongs to you. You may even request a copy of the entire
website on CD or other media on completion for a fee. This copy is for your retention
and should you wish to use another web design or web hosting company
in the future - you are completely at liberty to take this copy to
them for them to use. There are no Royalty Fees for our web designs.
How long does it take to have
a website designed or created from scratch?
The
time frame is determined by the size of your web site, the complexity
of your site design, and our current client design schedule. In some
cases, a single page website has been completed with a day. Most smaller
size websites can take on average a week.
What are my payment options?
You are welcome to pay by any of the following payment methods:
- Electronic Funds Transfer
- Paypal (2.2% surcharge will apply)
- Cheque or Money Order
- Cash
1) 50% commencement payment is due for all websites
2) 7 days to pay remaining balance on website sign off
3) Failure to pay within 30 days of completion will result in the removal
of all website related files and designs.
Do you offer any referral discounts?
Yes. With any customer you refer to us that completes a final
payment, you will receive a $20 Myer or David Jones Gift Card as a thank
you.
